- 1 nanday conure Black Jack, 1 Brotogeris parakeet Whiff, 1 ring neck dove Eliza, and 6 society finches (3 are tame). RIP my parent pairs of societies and my little gouldian finches
this is the first I've heard of it, but what a horrible thing! how could someone just break in and kill birds!? there is no reason! i hope they catch who did this!

There are some cold heartless people in this world. Evidently they still have some that got away....not just parrots but other animals as well. I hate posting this kind of stuff it is so depressing but hoped that someone from Australia had more news about it.

i hadnt heard of this one, but a few years ago some stupid teenagers went into Adelaide zoo and decided it would be fun to bash up the flamingos (we only have 3, and theyre all at least 80, the last from a flock the zoo got before we were blocked from importing anymore at all) of the two that they got they recovered. But it was a really sad thing to read because they arent even behind bars because they don't need to be and as they are already old one is completely blind, and the other only has sight in one eye and leads the other around. Some people are idiots for no reason. (because bashing up a defenseless blind pink bird will definitely add to your friends opinions of you) >=( :'(

Disgusting !! These people are deranged !! I'm sorry I even looked at this thread.
It just makes me beyond mad and nauseated to think they can do something like this and go home and sleep !!! How could you live with yourself !!!!
They should be struck by lightening but that would be too good for them IMO.
