Have a Happy Everything!! This was the front of our official 2013 mailing. (When they are dressed up, Pinto and Kisses/son and mother, look sooo much alike.)
Thanks. That is my Chu Chu. He has turned into this gigantic mush. He falls in love with everyone who enters my house. He was "doggy dumped" and found hungry and dirty, wandering, and made it to a kill shelter. Hard to believe such a little sweetie had such a rough time, isn't it? He used to bite and had issues but he has learned to really be a happy family member. He is about 14, not exactly sure but the vet thought he was about 6-7 when doggy dumped (he had old doggy foggy haze over his eyes) and that was in early 2006.
Sooo Gil just gave me a special treat. I was stressing out pretty bad (that's another story but I have one of those families that are great and I love them but, wow, the level of drama and stress at holidays is too much. I am more laid back and like things simple and low key). Anyhow I was truly in the kitchen pouring a drink to take the edge off wanting to cry and I heard Gilbert say, for the first time, "Give kiss!!" Followed by two kiss sounds. I almost cried, it made me so happy. How can I be stressed when this sweet little guy is here?
haha, he says "give kiss" all the time now. It's his new thing and he can't get enough of it. I was making dinner and he was chatting away, so I held my tablet up to be sneaky and record some of what he was saying.
