So excited for an interview.

I am really hoping to get this new job I have applied for. The whole application process has been intense to say the least. It took 4 hours to fill out the application then because my application apparently passed I was asked to take an online assessment and because I got through that assessment I was asked to take a proctured test. I was informed prior to applying about how I would have to pass each of the three steps but was never told what would happen after that. Well last Tuesday July 8th I did my proctured test got my score almost immediantly and have been unsure as to what happens next. Well today after going to a mandatory work meeting for almost an hour I checked my email while coloring with my neice and was invited to set up an interview. So I called the number to set up my interview and I will be called back tomorrow or Wednesday to be told the date and time of the interview. I REALLY want this job the pay is almost 50% MORE than I currently make and a full 40 hours a week. Which is what I originally started out with at my current job but once my new supervisior was hired my hours were cut to 8-15 hours a week. Not to mention the extra money will mean I can spoil my dog and my future bird even more.

What is the job ??

Thank you it will definately help me replace all my bird items alot faster which will be great. Because the sooner everything has been replaced the sooner I can get a new bird.

Yay new bird!! I'll have to convince my husband we need another one. We already have a zoo as it is so it might be a little difficult.

After Speckles died I decided to throw everything out because he had to of been sick since he died unexpectedly.

Oh no. I'm so sorry. I would've done the same thing. I'd rather throw it out than try to disinfect and still be worried I didn't do it right.

I only just read your post and wanted to wish you the best with your interview. My daughter has been looking for work with little success and so I know how it feels when the Interview is looming. I hope like mad you get your job and, soon after, your parrot!

Thank you I am still awaiting the phone call (should be tomorrow) to tell me when my interview is but I am excited and it's comforting knowing that my co-workers who I am close with also are encouraging and a few have offered to be referances including my former supervisor who loved me as a worker. But when my current supervisor was hired he instantly decided he didn't like me and so has been cutting my hours every single week.

So I got the call yesterday my interview is at 8 am July 23rd about 70 minutes away.

So my interview went well I am 99% sure I got the job since I filled out all the tax papers and stuff now I just need to get the background check and drug screen done (which I will have no problem with either) and when I asked if it meant I got the job I was told it depended on my hiring number(whatever that is). But my interviewer told me that the post office here really needs people so I'm pretty sure I got the job
