I need durable bird toys! I buy new bird toys very often (more often then Necessary) because my cockatiel and budgie is so destructive! They destroy any toy within 24 hours. If they don't break, then it breaks when I wash it (toys are washed once a week) I only have 1 bird toy that's lasted for 3 years, and that's a foraging toy that I put in with my lovebird.

Any suggestions on more durable toys for my birds?

Goofy (YNA), Oscar (Goffin 'too). Foster bird Betty (RLA). RIP Cookie, 1991-2016 ('tiel), Leo (Sengal), Charlotte (scarlet macaw). Grand-birds: Liam (budgie), Donovan (lovebird), RIP Angelo (budgie)
Try buying toys intended for a slightly larger bird. My Senegal gets toys meant for an African grey size bird because he destroys more appropriately sized toys too fast. My new cockatoo just ripped through a Medium sized toy in a day, so I stuck a toy meant for my macaw in there and he's going to town on it quite happily and should last him a while.

But the thing is that birds play by destroying their toys. I'm generally happy to get a month out of a favorite toy. Most don't last that long. Bird toys are just part of my monthly budget.
