Griffin 'finally' notices the Jolly Ball

I've had this for I think at least a year now. No one was interested. After all, Griffin my Ruppell's Parrot would rather find ways of getting into trouble rather than using a "legitimate" toy! Treats are inside, but he hasn't ventured in yet.

Hahaha, Julie! Griffin is such an adorable little troublemaker! It's about time he decided to check out his toy. A year, I'm pretty sure that's a record.

Thanks everyone, I think it has taken him so long because he'd rather do more "fun" things such as chew at woodwork, ruin flip flops, challenge Robin (very bad idea), eat my iPad case and not take no for an answer, etc!! He's such a little terror.

His best friend Raven 'was' such a good, trustworthy bird, but he is starting to learn naughty things by copying what Griffin does. Things he'd never do on his own accord. Fortunately he's not as active and all over the place as Griffin lol.

Yeah Julie, those eyes are windows into Griffin's soul!! It is amazing how they can ignore a toy for a year and then one day decide to investigate.

Come on Mom, you aren't being cool, lol! That is a nice ball. I think avenues would turn it into a nest though, Buddy would be afraid because it would try to eat him and Buzz, well, not sure yet.

And he got your iPad case? I think he's helping you to have a need to get new cases, lol! He's a gorgeous bad boy!

I know... I'm not being a cool mom by letting him have the run of the entire room and letting him destroy things

. I'm working on having a different room for Griffin and his buddy Raven. I can't risk seeing Griffin's blood again, and he loves to try to get to Robin who kicks his butt.

The Jolly Ball would definitely not be the right toy to give to Venus

About time! Hopefully he'll encourage Raven to join in the fun too! BTW I love how his orange eyes contrast against the gray. He may be a troublemaker, but he's a beautiful bird.
