Parrots
Blue Crown Conures: Tootsie and Rosco.
Senegal Parrot: Sidney.

Feathers of the past:
Budgies: Sunshine, Digit, Kiwi, and Yahto.
Senegal Parrot: Kelly.
"Fly free, little ones. Love and miss you."
And yet again another new obsession for Sidney... This time it is my kitchen cabinets. For whatever reason, Sid has become utterly fascinated with the insides of cabinets. If he is on my shoulder and I reach to open one, he tears down my arm to try to get inside. Tonight, he took the direct approach and flew into one where he got all puffy and looking like it might be a bad idea to try to get him out of there. Fortunately I was able to carefully pick him up with two hands and plop him on the shoulder and close the door. But he sure was puffed up, clicking his beak and that eye was flashing away at me.

Yellow Shoulder Amazon, Salty
Too funny, how they get the idea that something is happening inside something, like a cupboard or the like. Salty used to feel that way about the inside of the refridgerator, until one day, I relented and let him actually get in there. Closed the door on him too , just to show him that the party was NOT going on in there. Just for a second or two. His curiosity slaked, he never tried to get in there again. But as the door was closing shut, I could almost feel him rubbing his wings together, as if to say "Oh Boy, oh boy! Now the party starts!".

Take care, he has found a series of places that have real merit as being likely nesting areas!

Thank's for the great Video!

That is my concern. The way he has been acting for a few days now I'm sure the hormones are starting to flow. Oh, boy.... That time of the year again....
