Green Cheek Conure, Quaker Parakeet
I took my 7 month old quaker parakeet to the vet on saturday for his first check up, nail/wing trim. It is currently tuesday and he has not spoken since Saturday.

He is eating, drinking, sleeping, and pruning himself and I, and his poops are normal, and his breathing seems normal as well.

He is however, closing his eyes while eating, and while sitting alone and is slightly puffed up (but thats not out of the normal for him, because he sits puffed up trying to make himself look bigger). His tail is also vibrating quite a bit, but its not in sync with his breathing, so i'm not sure if that would be considered tail bobbing or not?

I called his vet and he said that he may still be stressed from the visit, but that was 4 days ago wouldn't he be over it by now? He will be going back in a few days if he is not better, but i just wanted other opinions.

When he is sitting on you or with you, his eyes are wide open and he is alert, it is just when he is sitting on top of his cage that his eyes start closing slightly, but is not sleeping?

Presently have six Greenwing Macaw (17 yo), Red Fronted Macaw (12 yo), Red Lored Amazon (17 y.o.), Lilac Crowned Amazon (about 43 y.o.) and a Congo African Grey (11 y.o.)
Panama Amazon (1 Y.O.)
Just sounds like he's tired to me. If he's eating, drinking, and pooping normally, then I wouldn't be overly concerned about his sleeping habits - unless he had a recent head injury and appears "out of it."

If he was recently vetted, did the tests show anything abnormal? If not, then it's probably nothing.
