A good companion for a Goffin Cockatoo?

I have 1 Goffin Cockatoo
We would like to get another bird (eventually) to keep Bella company when we are away. I'm actually not away very often, but I think she should have another feathered friend. I have a few questions. How will this affect her relationship with me? What other parrot species would be a good match? I would love to get a sun conure but I assume the size difference wouldn't be good. Thanks for any advice.

I personally have several birds, but they each have their own cages and stands. They interact with each other verbally, just not physically. I've said many times that I would like to hook up a video camera just to see what goes on here while we are gone. They are very verbal while we are here. My goffin's cage is next to the baby greys cage and Molly (the goffin) is a big talker. Konay (the grey) has picked up some of Molly's words. Good Luck in your decision.:green1:

african grey congo and timenah , I also have a goffin cockatoo
The lady that Takes care of my goffin,(who raises all breeds, and spends all her time teaching and loving them), says the best companion for a goffin is another goffin. I would trust anything she tells me.

I would agree with that; However, if you would rather have a smaller bird for Bella, then keep them in seperate cages, but close together. This way, they can enjoy each other's company, without any risk of one becoming a squeaky toy for the other.
