Hi Everyone
I have come across a great offer to finally get my african grey! The breeder told me she is only 22 days old. Is that too young to bring her home? Please help me decided if I should get her or wait........Thanks:confused:

Welcome to the forum. if you have to ask, yes she's way too young for you to "bring " home. Do you realize she doesn't even have feathers yet? Do you have a brooder? have all your handfeeding supplies? I'm sure she's much cheaper at this age,but it's not worth it if she won't survive your learning how to care for her. If a breeder is willing to sell a 3 week old to someone who knows nothing about raising babies birds,,,, run from that breeder,, he cares little for his birds (only dollars). Just my reaction to what little info is supplied in this post. BTW CAGs don't wean until about 12=14 wks, weaning means ,able to feed itself.
