I have been looking around for some sort of premixed cook able food like maybe a bean mix or something. I want something that I can just boil up and give to my fids. But I want a dry mix so it doesn't spoil and I can cook as much or as little as I may need. Thanks

I really like the Higgin's Worldly Cuisines. They smell DELISH. They make excellent add-ins for my mashes and chops, too! My only con about them is that they're expensive for such a small size. But, they have a bean mix that's precooked and takes no time at all to prepare and it smells heavenly. The last one I made for Avery smelled like apple crumble. I had a bit myself and it was actually really good! I mean heck, I'd eat it for breakfast, haha!

I've had a few Bird Street Bistro mixes that I liked, but I also have a mix of dried vegetables from Harmony House Foods - they're made for soup, and I have a whole ton of dried carrots, sweet potato, green beans, peas, lentils, etc that I blend with a rice/couscous mix from Bird Street Bistro :] I feed the dried vegetables dry too, mixed with pellets.
