Hi! A little less than a week ago I dyed my hair. (at someone elses house)
I have washed my hair about 4 times since then. Is it okay to let Kirby preen and sit in my hair? I don't smell it anymore.

The brand is clairol nice n easy.

Make a paste out of baking soda and shampoo....put about a half cup of baking soda in a cup, and add shampoo stirring until it's liquid and shampoo twice with that. You'll be fine after that. :)

Yes, it should be fine now, especially since you've washed it 4 times already. :)

She might only want a subtle change (a lightening or darkening maybe), rather than something her bird(s) would take notice of.....several years ago, my flock attacked my birdsitter's granddaughter & one of her friends when they showed up, each with a new doo from temporary hair coloring they used for their Halloween costumes.....my birds knew both of these girls & interacted with them on a regular basis, but they did not know the girls who showed up that afternoon.....

I guess it was memories of Alfred Hitchcock until they could get back out the door, though nobody got hurt...just scared a bit...and...nobody had the presence of mind to take any pics.....

Thats not a problem for me, haha! I meant to make my hair a lot lighter, and it ended up literally EXACTLY the same. A week of no Kirby time for nothing :I

Color will not lift colored hair. If your hair has even the slightest amount of color, another color won't make it lighter.....that only works on virgin hair once. So if you want to go lighter, select a high-lift color (40 volume developer) and add a pinch of powder bleach. Only bleach lifts color---even if it's old color.
