Buddy, my GCA, is going through a moult, he is falling apart, lol. He's been loosing flight and tail feathers like this morning I felt something fall and hit my bum. Buddy was on my shoulder, I turn and look and there is a green and black feather from his wing. He's looking rough too so this is a big moult and my first with him. And his cage looks like he had a pillow fight and lost, lol.
So I checked Venus my Ekkie out, no sign of moulting yet. Then I started wondering if Buddy and Venus will moult at the same time, is there a specific time of year Venus will moult but I haven't found any info on moult timing. Based on landofvos I gather she may have another 6-9 months if she is truly 10 months old as we were told. I'm curios though, for those with more than one bird, do you see your flock moult around the same time or each moults in his/her own timing?
