Just curious about something. Barney started either vomiting, or regurgitation today, and I was hoping for some insight. He isn't doing it along with the head bobs, so I know it isn't mating regurgitation. However it also isn't ever coming out of his mouth. He just regurges in to his own mouth and then eats it again. Birds ever regurge just to eat again (like cows)?

Otherwise, I told the wifey to keep a close eye on him, and track his poops while I'm at work today so we can see if they are remaining normal. Any other non sickness causes I should look in to? I'm not opposed to taking him to the AV if necessary of course, just trying not to rush to it.

My CAG and Jenday both do that quite a bit, if it's what I'm picturing.
It doesn't sound like Barney is vomiting, but a good idea to keep track of the droppings like your planning on just to be on the safe side.

I hope everything's fine with Barney and it sounds like it is. I've seen Poppy do the same thing you've described, on rare occasions, usually after she's stuffed herself with soft food. I would do the same as you are, keep a close eye on Barney and see what, if anything develops.

When he does it, it kind of looks like mashed baby peas. Which makes sense, he had a lot of green stuff for breakfast today, and dinner last night. He is certainly acting normal so far.
