I'm looking to get an air purifier that I could run in Lincoln's room, anyone know a good brand/model? I'm looking for something a tad more heavy duty I think

I got a nice one not too big but the filters are so expensive I haven't been using it much anymore. Sharper image with the nano coils. I wish i had got one of the ionizers that you can just clean and do not have filters to change. I would suggest looking at the price of your filters and how often they need to be replaced before making your decisions.

***As far as I know the ionizer types can be harmful to our FIDS. It may be related to ozone generation. Perhaps someone else can chime in. I thought I saw mention of it here on the forum, but not sure. That is why we stayed away from that type.

Honestly, we blow out the HEPA filters with an air compressor hose outside. I know it reduces the filtering effects, but significantly extends the life. We mainly purchased the filter because Arika has this extremely fine down that goes everywhere and needed something to keep it in check.
