My Fid loves to play with cotton swabs for the ear and actually got this idea from a reference from a home-made toy site. PePe squeals a ton when fiddling with the cotton swab. And the site also suggest marbles since the marble will be impenitrable to a conures beak and will not fit in its mouth.
