Kiwi my green cheek just chewed up my F6 key on our macbook pro. Has anyone had this happen before? And if so how do you fix it? Cuz the plastic thing right under the key isn't broke, nothing is. But I can't get it to go back into the keyboard. Please help?

Jasper- lutino Indian Ringneck. And these guys aren't birds but we also have Daphne- cocker spaniel, Lilly- Great Dane/great Pyrenees, and Domino- Maine Coon cat
My IRN has. When my husband gets home I can ask him how he fixed it, because I'm really not sure what he did.

Had this issue with a TV remote and keyboard and purchased both new. I am super careful and do not let birds near computer and put remote down out of sight.

I don't let my GCC on the keyboard because I've heard of their claws getting stuck between the keys. Am I over-exaggerating or is this something I should be worried about? That, and cleaning up the poop probably isn't too much fun.

Kiwi climbed down my arm so fast and undid the key that I didn't have time to get him. I managed to get one side of the key back in but i don't want to push so hard and break the fragile plastic piece underneath. Thanks Zoe i'd REALLY appriciate you asking your husband. Thanks :) (oh problem isn't resolved yet so don't be afraid to still offer advice)

I got a new keyboard...my old one was missing F, 8, ~, Escape key, delete key and I think one other.

Popcorn the U2, removed every key from my mother-in-law's laptop. He was sooooooo proud of himself.

To solve the keyboard problem at home I gave Sterretjie her own keyboard to destroy while I am on mine. I thought I was being clever with this idea but was proven wrong because she still only wants to play with the one that I use.

Most of the time the keys just pop back in. Whenever I watch my friends lovebird she goes straight for the keyboard and she gets mad if you try to stop her. lol

Happens to me and I just place it as perfect as possible and then press hard and it snaps back in. I have also bought ozzy a keyboard that he destroys as he LOVES my keyboard. I also used to have an issue with him still just wanting mine but I learned that he wants my keyboard because I pay sooo much attention to it. So I gave some attention to his toy keyboard and he plays with that now.

Our Macaw has eaten two keyboards to date, trust me the keys won't pop back in after he has had them:)
