Just as an FYI to all members of Parrot Forum! Resulting from major changes in the software requirements to protect you and them from being attacked by Hackers: Near all Software Companies from Operating Systems to what you use to search the Internet to your Email software and all of the Microsoft family of products are busy updating.

Remember to back-up your files!
Remember to write down your favorite Web Site Address
Remember to write down and keep safe the new passwords, etc... that you will likely need to reset.
This is an excellent time to update your Passwords. So, create them prior to updating everything.

Depending on the software you have, you could be spending anywhere from a couple of hours to much more.

Have a fun couple of hours, or more!!!

Re: Major Software Updates - OS, MS, and near everything else

Good advice. I recommend Dashlane, an app that keeps track of all my passwords for me and stores them encrypted on each device I use. I never have to remember a password, and if I change on on the tablet it updates the files on the computer, etc. so they stay in synch. I think it's free to use the version that doesn't synch, but I find the paid version a good investment.

One other good thing, is Dashlane allows you to share some passwords with others and to have an emergency contact who can access your passwords in, well, an emergency.
