Jack- 5 year old pacific parrotlet
Jack has adjusted well to his new home, but I cannot get him to eat fruits and vegetables unless they are very crunchy and I hold them in from of his face. Any ideas? Also, could he eat plain, simple cereals like plain Cheerios or grape nut? And is plain uncooked oatmeal safe? Thanks:green2:

A lot of people will put oatmeal the chop so yes that is safe. I think cheerios is safe also. You can just chop us different fruit and veggies that are safe in use the oatmeal to dry everything up and feed.

I sometimes add a little Grape Nuts to their chop, and also a little egg food mixed with seed to make it crunchy. My parrotlet LOVES the little carrots that are cut into little sticks.
You could also cook some quinoa to mix with it as well:)
