13yr. old male umbrella cockatoo,
we call him Amigo!
7yr. old Goffin cockatoo, she IS Sassy!!
Today is a rainy day in central California. Amigo loves the rain but it's suppose to hit really hard tonight so I brought him in early.
He flies into the kitchen, lands on the floor and just starts pecking around...no, don't notice me, just chillin'. Our big old cat is laying on the floor when Amigo comes around the corner,,,STAND OFF!!! Our big old cat is so cool, he gets up, flicks his tail, and saunters off.
Amigo proceeds to crawl up my jeans, I place him on my shoulder while doing dishes and we hang out. Bizarre, but he seems to be happy as a clam!
