Oh ya, the old dead batteries excuse... heard it a million times lol!

Speaking of eating though... today little nacho bird was pigging out! I had given him some zucchini cut up tiny and he was happily pecking away at that until I sat down next to him with my oatmeal. He seemed really interested so I dug out a little blob about the size of a shelled almond, blew it cool and put it on the counter for him. He attacked it! Gobbled it down pretty quick so I did it again, and again for a third time! The third one was a bit slower and he left some traces of it so I guess he finally got enough but he sure amazed me by eating as much as he did today. oink oink!

Id avoid bacon in the recipe... Lil birdies kidneys have problem with salt and/or sodium nitrates used in curing bacon. (just my 2 cents there)

RIP Gandalf and Big Bird, you are missed.
Wholly cannoli, hold the cannoli. :D My favorite of Italian desserts, not good for the fids. Maybe a drop of filling the size of the head of a nail!! (minus the chocolate!!)

So hard to find a good cannoli in the west coast.

I bought a Nutribullet blender just for the fids after Anansi recommended chopper no vegs very fine. Love it!!! A great way to make the good veggies stick. I use it to make salsa too, salsa is a staple here for the humans, lol!
