His legs are still moving if you watch long enough.... this is a very slow death... im tempted to just put him in the freezer to stop the suffering faster.... :'(

That's a shame:(. I think any creature we bring into our home and care for (especially for many years) is rough when they pass. I suppose, if it's any comfort, at least he's going in a way that's part of his natural life cycle.

Yea well i joined a tarantula forum hoping for some advice before doing anything crazy and giving up, thet are really helpful and suggested putting water drop on her fangs to give her more hydration which will help with molting... hopefully there is still hope!

The water seems to be helping a lot, but she is still not well. At least she's moving again and is out of the death curl I found her in yesterday.

Yay! Hoping she'll be ok (although "fangs" gave me a bit of a creepy crawly feeling :) Glad to hear that she's improving!

Thanks everyone for your support. :) Shes still kicking....literally. Still giving her water through a straw. No real improvement though... On a happy note, Pumpkins doing great...

How is the eight legged critter today? I'm not a fan of 8 legged critters but I am hoping your baby recovers, sheds her skin and bounces back. I must admit I didn't know tarantulas could live up to 30 years. That's awesome and amazing.

Shes slowing down a lot the last few days and moving less..She had been death curling a few times a day for about 3 days now, but so far comes back out of it. I have lowered the humidity and just continue giving her water. I tried to put a crushed cricket into her fangs today to see if she will eat, and she started to then stopped. Its been a few hours now so ill probably take it out of her mouth soon.

So we think it may be something called dyskinetic syndrome. keeping her temperature at 80 and humidity above 70%. She's moving more. Still giving her water through a straw. I tried to crush a few crickets and feed them to her but she's not interested...
