Not necessarily as good as "beak-proof", just any level of protection to bide you a few extra seconds to save the keys yourself.

Has anyone used a transparent keyboard protector, for either desktops or laptops (I need to protect both), that lets you still type easily and at least delays by a few seconds damage from a beak as strong or stronger than an IRN's? What is the brand?

Or if you've had one that your bird can remove from the keyboard in less than a second, please share the brand name too so I can at least have a list of ones NOT to buy.

Thanks :)

None I know of. You could look for a flat panel keyboard, a touch sensitive one that has no raised 'keys' .

I use a tablet, and take advantage of the pop up keyboard when ever Salty is near. Like most parrots, he loves to pick the keys off. I have a whole stack of keyboards he's ruined, same model, so I can salvage some of the keys .
