Hi everybody,
I was wondering if anybody knows if bouncy balls are safe for birds to play with/chew up (the kind you can get from vending machines). The fids have gotten their beaks on them in the past, but I have always taken them away because I didn't know if they were safe.

hmmm tough one.....

I personally wouldn't give Cal one to play with just in case she did manage to pull a bit off and gulp. It seems unlikely but I prefer hard plastics and acrylic if I give her anything not built for parrots. Bottle tops with the rough parts sanded down, plastic spoons and cups etc, hard plastic toddler/baby toys = fab.

Maybe someone else can bounce around a few more ideas for you! Baboomm tssssshhhh!

:D Yeah, I too stick with the things I feel are absolutely safe (bottle caps, plastic spoons, etc.), but I figured that if somebody knows for a fact they're safe they would make my buddies very happy happy. :)
