Is it just me or.....

when parrots are attempting to talk, you can understand what it is they are saying.
Much like when a young child is starting to talk they tend to mumble and have there own baby language which only there parents can understand what there saying, and normally have rto translate for me!

I have thought this because many times i have gone 'Did youjust hear what she said!!" being very excited i have heard new words, and any body else has told me its just mummbling.... but i swear i hear words??

am i overlyt hopeful...... or is it a parent thing to understand??!!!

No it's not just you. When I got my CAG home, after 2 months she began to babble alot. I could've have sworn that she said this and that, and I would get very excited about it. For about a week and a half she said her first word. When she says her first word, you will have no doubt :)
