Not the best pics because Percy was enjoying his shower so much, he would not stay still!

Awesome photos. Percy looks like he sure was enjoying his bath. I love watching birdies bathe - they turn themselves into pretzels trying to get each feather bathed and just right.

He normally enjoys his misting but takes a while to warm up to this level of wing flapping and shenanigans. Today, when he saw the mister bottle, the wings went straight up and he said 'Come! Come! Come!'. Clearly he wanted a bath badly :) He's molting so he's got lots of sheathes on the big feathers that I tried to get extra wet. I try to bath him at least every second day to help with the itchies.

Bundii is molting at the moment too. I am going to give her a good soaking tomorrow to help with the pins.

My Charlie loves his baths too but I worry about bathing him as often during the winter. Any adverse effects if the room is still comfortable but it is COLD outside? I don't want Charlie to get a chill.

It is summer in South Africa and veeery hot so I don't have issues with chills at the moment ;)

I'm sure that if the inside of the house is comfortable in cold temps it should be ok but since we get very cold winters here too, I will be waiting with you for more experienced parronts to chime in :)
