best clippers for a conure

Ive been working with Aster and she lets me flip her on her back and play with her feet so Im probably gonna start cutting her nails myself. Whats the best clipper for this? Dog/cat "scissor" nail clippers? Guillotine nail clippers? Just normal human nail clippers?

I think small scissor nail clippers, the kind with the “u” indentation, work well but human nail clippers work fine for a small conure too.

Do either of you use nail files instead of clippers? I haven't tried either method since Cotton bites his nails but I always wonder about it.

I’ve tried filing Lucy’s “beak-tooth” but she didn’t like it and wouldn’t sit still. I had heard that some birds like having their beak filed.
