I am still giving Bingo his medicine.
I had been having my son help me. I would towel and hold Bingo and he would administer meds.
I have been doing both recently, holding and giving meds and it is smoother and I am more sure
he is getting a full dose of meds.
As for the close call I must explain.
There is a sliding glass door in the dining room. Above the door runs a non opening window.
This is the window that the big birds like to sit at.
Because of Merlin or Luna damaging the wall around the window I have stopped
letting the twins stay there for very long.
Bingo is the exception. He loves to just sit and look and he does not damage anything.
So Bingo was sitting in the window and I was going to eat something and I was giving
out small samples to the Fids. Well Merlin escaped and he did exactly what I knew he would.
He flew strait up to the window with bingo in it. He landed about 2 feet away.
If Bingo had a serious hate on I never could have got there in time. But Bingo didn't move.
It took both my son trying to get Merlin back in the cage and me standing guard over Bingo
to prevent any close encounters.
I wish I knew a way to safely let these two get together.
Even if I can let them mingle Luna would be very upset by this.
