Hi all,

I was wondering if you agree that this recipe is healthy for Eclectuses: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3s0lvQBrYk]birdie bread - YouTube[/ame]

In all the lists of foods I've read about, I've never seen flour anywhere. Is this safe?

I think I'd skip the seed mix altogether and feed that separately in very small portions. Also, is the chili powder ok?

I believe chilli powder is ok, as long as it's just pure chillies and not other stuff.

There are alternatives to normal flour that work great, such as organic millet flour, barley flour, and other flours made from healthier things.

If birdies are going to have bread, I vote for gluten-free. Rice/millet flour breads are great.
