Does anybody know if they make a harness small enough for budgies? A friend of mine asked me and I told him I don't think so but that I'd ask on this form in case anybody's ever heard of this. Probably the only safe way to take a budgie outside of the house is in a travel cage or travel bag right? I can't imagine needing much wind for a budgie to take flight even if it were clipped! Thanks!

They generally don't make harnesses for birds smaller than GCC, Cockatiel size. I think it's for safety reasons. Budgies are SO tiny and delicate at around 30 grams, that you could possibly injure a struggling budgie while trying to get a harness on or off. A travel cage or back pack style would be the safest way.
