Clyde, Quaker; Freddie, tiel; Rocky, umbrella cockatoo.
I know it's hormone season and I hope that's all that's at the root of this, but my Quaker Clyde is picking on my cockatiel Freddie. Last year at this time there were other birds in the bird room, but it's down to just the two of them now, with a whole room to share, plenty of food and water dishes, perches and toys so they never have to interact. Yet Clyde will make a special trip across the room to lunge at Freddie.

Sounds like Clyde is making it known he's the boss! Keeping Clyde caged while Freddie is out will be your best bet. Give them each a few hours to be out and then swap out ! Only way they can be safe.

Clyde's always been the boss. His title is Chief Bird in Charge.
