caique and puppy

ok i know this is a random question.. but i had me kind of worried. i just got a puppy last week.. and she is being crated during the day in my room which also has my caiques cage in it.. i know birds are super sensitive to a bunch of stuff.. so heres my question.. if the puppy poops during the day.. will the smell and what not harm my bird??? if so.. ill move the puppys crate out of my room..

As long as you clean up the poop regularly, I think it should be fine. Parrots don't have a particularly sensitive sense of smell. You might want to get an air purifier anyway though.
