hey guys i am sooooo happy
charlie took his first steps out of his cage !
he is not flighted because his old owners said he will dive bomb on you soooo
when i took him out he actually perched on my arm i was soo happy but them he got nervous and bit me then went to play on the top of his cage.
i know that he did not want to bite bc the bite was not hard.
i am really pleased he is now talking on the top of his cage and dancing to alan walker songs
(his favourite )

why dont you tell us your babys first time out?
;):p:eek:

It took Kevin a good 3 days to brave the outdoors of his cage. He now loves the outside of the cage but is also learning to go in on command. Greys are so special.

SO HAPPY FOR YOU! This is the first step---just remember how long this took, and it will make the little things seem less annoying lol.

Like your avitar.

Bella came out of her cage first day no trouble.
going back in was a bit more difficult.

Luna is the bird that is more difficult. She does not like hands near her feet.
She developed a habit of perching on my iPad while I was using it. I found that I could get her to step up onto the iPad and so that is the method I use to get her in/out of her cage.

Enzo - adopted Female CAG circa 2004. A truly amazing young lady!
Fantastic news, well done. The bite will no doubt just be a 'beak checking the stability of his perch. If he does beak you again then continues to add pressure, say ouch to let him know just how much pressure he can use.

ive tried soo many things like
switching the lights off
putting food inside
making him perch on a broom
also this is really weird ,just yesterday i got charlies wings clipped (because we have a fan) and he flew all the way to the top of the wardrobe .
i was shocked!!!
