i saw this on another forum and i just felt like posting it here too aha:

Man And Pet Parrot Resuced From Tall TreeBoth Were 75 Feet In The Air

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX, Apr. 3, 2007 - A bizarre story occured Tuesday in southeast Montgomery County where a man was stuck near the top of a very tall tree with a very expensive parrot.

As a helicopter circled, the man had a reported $2,000 parrot under his shirt. This very expensive parrot allegedly escaped from the man's home and flew into the trees.

It took rescue crews some time to figure out how to get to the man since they couldn't drive ladder trucks into the dense area full of other trees.

Neither the bird, nor the man appeared to be injured.

We understand the parrot's name is Geronimo.

It was a cockatoo by the way incase you didn't read the title aha.

Its to bad they made it sound like the man wanted the bird back because of its price.

That is just too darn cute for words, 75ft high wow now thats high, Its nice to see people putting themselfs in that situation for their birds.
