I'm talking about the inner roll that makes up the core for gift paper. They are great for using as a chew toy. Similar to a paper towel cardboard core except I don't believe it is cardboard, it's thinner.
Cut them in 2-3" pieces, then unroll them and either fold them in half long ways or cut them in narrower strips. I weave them into all the links of Perjo plastic chains and she spend 10 minutes unraveling them and ripping them up.
And technically it's a free toy.
I'm sure some of you more veteran parrot owners know this, this might help some rookie bird owners.
