dried uncooked lentil

I had bought dried lentils to sprout Paddy ate one.Is it harmful? Can he eat them raw ? He seemed to love it. Thanks Bonita

Mmm.. I think you're supposed to sprout or cook lentils, and all beans are supposed to be cooked.

I doubt eating one will hurt him, though.

I do know you can feed uncooked dried split green peas. Maybe if he loved the lentil that much, he'd also like split peas.
