Today I had another lengthy chat with Gabby's mum. She was spouting off bird information to me. It was wonderful. She really knows her bird and loves her and wants her to be well-taken care of. She gave me no end of useful information.

The bottom line is-on Friday we will pick up Gabby! I'm sooo excited! I bought some supplies today and we'll order more online.

Gabby's fourth birthday is on Thursday. She is including her DNA papers.

I just can't wait to meet her! Tomorrow I am going to play 'rearrange the furniture to find the best place for the massive bird cage' game. Wish me luck! I'm nesting!

That is so wonderful... How fun and exciting ! I remember how I felt waiting to get Cosmo. It's like getting ready for a baby : )

BTW, from another post you said you had never seen a Galah. You should have come by the Coburg B&B while you were in town. You could have played with Chewbaca, and seen a majestic CAG.
