Getting a grey soon! Tips?

Hey everyone I'm getting a CAG soon, I'm going to see some weaned yougsters next thursday!
Heres what I've figured out so far. Im going to be feeding my grey Harrison's high potency but not sure weather to use coarse or fine? Im going to be purchasing a Kings corner cage next week its got 5.5mm bar thickness, 3/4 bar spacing and measures out at 54" wide x 42.5" deep x 72" high. I wanted a big cage for my new grey and his toys! Its not a play top cage but I'm gonna buy play top for it! Now I've heard mixed emotions about male or female? Ill probably let the bird pick me but any insight on that topic? Is Harrison's as good as iv been reading it is? Ive been poking around on the forum for almost a yeaf buts just recently became a member. Any extra advice, tips or info would be awesome! Thanks guys!

That is a huge cage for a grey, while it might be a great idea for an active bird it may also be overwhelming for a baby. Greys tend to like a cozy space to feel safe in.

You may want to consider a smaller sleeping cage or a cozy hut for sleeping in. Just my opinion...
