Just now seeing this thread, thanks for sharing, and I'm so glad she's better! If it helps - I noticed a reference to getting meds from a Canadian pharmacy. Many people don't know that Costco pharmacies are open to everyone, not just Costco members. Their drug prices are cheaper than almost anywhere, and if you are a member without prescription insurance they give you an even cheaper price. Radically cheaper. Costco gladly fills prescriptions for animals, and they automatically treat animals as "non insured" and give you the discounted price. Sam's club gives you four prescriptions, from a select list, for free but I don't know how they handle animals.
Also - Wonder Guy used to check his Amazon's heartbeat by placing fingers gently on either side of the upper wing/arm, the first bone going from the back to the wrist. Said he could feel it clearly. I never tried it, because I was attached to my fingers and I wanted to keep them attached to me. Can anyone else feel a pulse there?
