In the morning they get a warm breakfast, which I remove after about 1-2 hours. At noon they get birdie bread, and for dinner they get the home-cooked stuff again, warmed up.
I don't feed chop (made all with raw stuff) but gloop which is cooked. I make a large batch and freeze individual bags. Every night, I take out one bag to thaw and, in the morning, I add the daily ingredients/flavor to it. This, with raw produce (not chopped, either whole or in chunks) is breakfast. I don't feed lunch (bird in the wild have two large meals a day: breakfast and dinner) but I do give them dinner which consists of the high protein food (budgie seed mix for the budgies, tiels, lovebirds and large ones with liver damage, a tiel mix for the medium, and the same tiel mix with toasted nuts added for the large species). The only thing I free-feed is produce which is left there all day long.
