How to make my parrot comfortable till we get to vet

My parrot has an appointment today at 4 but we have a few hours till then and he seems to be in pain does anyone know how to make him comfortable or anything I can do till his appointment please help!

other then keep him in a calm, darkish area?? hope all goes well at vets

Try placing him on a flat perch or surface.
