Well so they are SUUUUPER HARD, but I saw Senegal parrots and all this things opening them, what means that mambo (BFA) will be able to do it too.

The problem is that he doesnā€™t know how to. Is there a way to teach him ??

Not sure what they are. Have you tried cracking some for him to "get them started". My girl Baxter likes almonds, but won't open one unless some of the outer shell is broken off like this (see pic) Perfect ones get tossed. She also likes walnuts, but has to have it in half before she'll look at it.

Those appear to be pine nuts.

It is likely Mambo doesnā€™t know there is a tasty treat inside more than he doesnā€™t know how to crack them. Amazons can crack fairly large nuts, so those will be no issue and do not need to be pre cracked like walnuts. That said, I would use a nutcracker to crack a few open right in front of him then feed him the nut inside then offer him one in shell. Iā€™m sure once he realizes they have food inside, heā€™ll know what to do with them:)

Nice!
Yeah I realised that, Mambo cracks walnuts, well he doesnā€™t crack it completely like a macaw but he makes many wholes and eats them like that lol.

Iā€™m going to do this!
Are pine nuts healthy ???
