Got a sun conure 2 weeks ago from a pet super
Market. We went to go look at a green cheek on sale
There but this guy just had 1 of those personalities
You just can't pass up. The whole stores crew was so
Great and 1 had started to teach him to poop on command
Which I've keep up on.well they were right about the bird he's
About 3 months old now I guess and just a real treasure. He bit
Me 1-2 times hard but has eased off to a much more manageable
Pressure. He is so loving and seems to be training up well, he's easy
To get on and off my finger, loves to cuddle , likes to play under the sheet
That's on his cage. He rolled onto his belly yesterday and was playing with my
Finger with 1 claw. He just loves my girlfriend and I even though she does encite
Him to scream when she calls him bay bay.

Well that's all for now he's just truly a real treasure.

Ps his name is Thor :)

Welcome to the forum Scott, you'll find answers here to virtually all of your bird questions & even a lot of non-bird questions.....

Sounds like you've got a keeper in Thor.....just be sure to watch for any attitude changes.....they might start any time in the near future.....many birds are all nice & friendly during a "honeymoon" period, then get a little testy when they're real comfortable in their new home.....it's usually nothing to worry about, as long as you understand that it's testing it's limits & what it can & can't get away with.....

Good luck.....

Thor is an adorable name. Love it. There are certain sun conures that can totally charm you, in spite of their squawky ways. I can relate!
