"Birdie". Sun Conure
My friend's injured CAG with the inverted knee has surgery tomorrow. Will put 2 pins in femur and 2 pins in tibia with a bar connecting them in permanent perching position. They say it's the best option. All fingers and toes crossed. This is the sweetest bird ever.

Rio (Yellow sided conure) sadly no longer with us
hopefully the surgery goes well and Nellie can live a good happy life. You'd be amazed how resilient and adaptive parrots can be (despite how stubborn they normally are!) and hopefully after some adjustment she'll be living a good life as a peg-leg so to speak!
