Nevermind, I see that the bar spacing is 1" and I think I read that that's too big for a Sun and definitely too big for a Green Cheek.

SIGH. lol Guess I'll keep looking.

Why is 1" too big? I have had my GCC for 10 days and she has been in a cage with 1" spacing. I haven't had any problems...Should I be worried?

Generally 1" bar spacing is not recommended for smaller birds such as GCCs as they could possibly squeeze their head through the cage bars.

1/2", 5/8" and 3/4" spacing is preferred and safer.

Have you tried CL?

I've been searching the Canadian equivilent of CL; Kijiji.ca

I found one large cage for $80 but I think the spacing was too big and it looked kind of dirty. Another I'd found twice the size of what I'd need was $100 but that person never replied to me.

You should look look up flight cages, they have appropriate bar spacing and are big.

Thanks for the tip. I keep seeing good prices on flight cages but wasn't sure if they were suitable (for whatever reason).

I had read that 1" spacing was too big and the birds could get their heads stuck possibly.

Edit:
Found this cage today:

Oh poo!

I really like that one from Petco but unfortunately we do not have Petcos in Canada.

And the website with the HQ cage does not appear to ship to Canada. They only have USA in the shipping/checkout options.

Thank you though, haha.

You can probably find Canadian web sites with the first cage, HQ is a popular world wide cage.

Aww, would they ship to cananda? if so it would probably be expensive...
