okay so i adopted a 4 year old male

he is super sweet no aggression issues at all.

but the previous owners said he would talk but only would say a few things which is okay. my question is, is head flicking a way of them learning? he flicks his head and his eyes dilate.

African Grey Timneh
My timneh learns things without me even knowing it. Head bobbing can be a sign they want to play. Timnehs eyes get real big when shes eating something good or in the bright light.
