Hi, how i said before i`m the happy owner of an Yna named Lobo .
Thank to you guys we are really happy now ,we bonded and i can do everything i want to her ..pet her ,cuddle her and she is not baiting me(still not her favorite person).
We went at the vet and he said she in perfect health .
I switch her on roudybush medium pellets because she was eating a lot of bad food and she got used with them easy , she hates Harrisons..
I had parrots before but none so quit like her and that is strange ,she never screams , in the morning she is not making any sound until we are awake and she always stays in the same spot you put her, sometimes she is walking around the house , she dosen`t break anything ..
She want to play like 2*30 min per day is the morning when we wake up and before sunset when she is full of energy and she cannot shut up :)) she knows a lot of words..
But the problem is that i think she sleeps way to much..today i`m with her and we had the training around 8:30 and she has already like 5 h of sleep ,and she sleeps at least 10 h per night.
It`s just me or she really is like and 100 years person :)) maybe because i like in Naples Fl ..Should i be worry??
I really paid almost nothing for her ..500 $ w cage and 2 play stands.

After the clicker training and target training with the stick what`s next??

She is 522 and this are her blood results.

@2 videos with her...
I notice that she sleeps always if it`s quiet in the house, she loves all the noise ,music everything :)
My wife is her favorite :) she is going crazy when she sees her.

Not Dna but the previous owner said 15 years and female.

Healthy birds sleep A LOT! Birdie gets a least 12'hours sleep at night and takes a couple quick naps during the day. Don't worry about him sleeping too much. As long as he seems healthy when he's awake.

I wouldn't worry too much about sleeping if she is healthy. If there is nothing going on, they just go to sleep. Could be bored, or just not into doing anything. Mine sleeps all night, then gets up and plays in the AM. Sleeps all afternoon, then gets up for dinner. Sleeps again, then eats, plays, poops and goes to bed! What a life.

My Bingo's activate level is similar to your Lobo's.

He plays 2 or 3 times a day. Sometimes it's just chewing on a wooden block and sometimes it can be hanging upside down having a big fight. He also plays in his cardboard box acting like a chicken. he rips up the bottom of the box with his beak and then "scratches" the pieces of broken up box with his feet towards to "door" of his box.

the rest of the time if he isn't eating he just sits there. It is difficult to tell if he is sleeping cuz I can only see one eye, the other one might be open... or not.

What you describe sounds normal to me.

Beautiful girl you have, she looks to be on the large size (also like my Bingo).
