We called quite a few vets and none treat birds. Only 2 we found are Macafee's and Westchester and because of bad experiences which each we will not go there. We are looking in the valparaiso, dyer, crown point, merriville or Chesterton area. Any suggestions?

I have a great vet in Toledo, Ohio, but it's probably too far to go, especially if you have an emergency.

For me...yes. I drive 5 minutes and get lost. I forgot the breeder gave us the card for Dr. Scott Mcdonald so we are going to schedule an appointment with that vet as soon as we know when our bird is coming home. He said he will call about a week before our baby is ready.
