well after looking at all the pictures i could find i decided to throw together a playgym for magoo, his cage was made for one but we did not have one. went to home depot they were all out of the 3/4 elbows so i will have to hit lowes this week some time. but here it is just missing some elbows and wrap

well the playgym is now finished, i covered it in some vet wrap and some diffrent kinds and thicknesses of ropes. it came out pretty cool i think. BUT magoo is scared of it and will not go to it. he will not even sit on top of his door like he used too because he can see it from there. i had him on my hand last night and was going to set him on it, the closer i got to it the farther up my arm he moved until he was on my back lol. i hope in time he checks it out

It came out very nice. Yes, some birds are afraid of new things and you have to let it sit there for awhile so they see it doesn't move, and it's not going to eat them. Pete is terrified of all new things I want to put in his cage. It takes a few days. I have to let a new toy sit next to the cage for a couple of days, then hang it on the outside near the bottom, and gradually move it up each day. Then the last one, the cat started chewing on it! I had to cut off the parts she chewed on, the little stinker!
