Mixed Marriage

Greybeard is 3 year old male.
Chewbaca, RB2, is 1 1/2 year old female.

Greybeard sleeps in an open cage in our guest bathroom, and until recently Chewbaca slept in a closed cage in the same room. Since her tailfeathers were looking ragged, we decided to leave her cage open at night, too.

When we covered them, we would find Chewbaca on the edge of his cage opening, so I put a second perch near the door. Last night I found them side by side on the main perch...

Greybeard has gradually accepted her over the last year, and they preen each other on occasion, but this is a milestone.
