Hi!
I went into my favorite parrot store for new toys for my current flock. As my luck would have it, they have an adorable baby moustache parrot.
It took all of my will power not to purchase her. So I was hoping that others who own them could give me advice on the species. Pros and Cons.
Also do you think having an odd number in a flock matters. I currently have both a female eclectus and male red lored amazon.

Ohhhhh that pretty little one looks a lot like one I almost bought not so long ago, he was just the most beautiful baby! I didn't do it cos I just don't have the floor space for another cage of the size I'd like. Whether a baby like that would fit in with an ekkie hen and/or an Amazon, both of which I imagine would be rather larger, is difficulty to say for sure. Best case they all love each other and get on like a house on fire, at worst they all decide the just can't stand each other and can never be let out together, or a bit of a combination of both. Or even that they get on so well together that they exclude you! In any event your household dynamic will change in some way so you'd need to be prepared for all eventualities and keep everyone well supervised for safety's sake, but it's something you really won't know for sure until they're all under the one roof together.

I wish you the very best of luck with whatever you decide to do - but that baby sure is gorgeous! 😍
